Tasting: Pale straw yellow with greenish reflections. Goes well with: Malvasia is often referred to as a 'contemplative wine' – it can be enjoyed entirely on its own with a good book or a view! But blended here with Nuragus, the lovely balance of acidity and sweetness make Alys a very versatile companion. An ideal aperitif, it goes well with seafood pasta and risotto, grilled fish, white meats, young and semi-aged cheeses. Serving: Lightly chilled. What's special?: This vineyard was established by young people to preserve Sardinia's indigenous grape varieties.They make only 3,000 bottles of this wine a year.
