Wine Tasting Events

Terra Sarda Wines holds regular Wine Storytelling events during which we take you on a journey in glass across Sardinia. Rare, natural and sometimes organic wines are accompanied by Sardinian and Yorkshire nibbles!

You'll find details and links to book tickets to our public events below.

If you would like us to organise a bespoke tasting event, or know of any group or organisation that would be interested in hosting one, we're here to help.

We offer a wide range of options, including Sip-and-Connect networking/team-building events, special interest or friends group tastings, and more formal tutored sessions for anyone who wants to expand their knowledge of wine in a relaxed, fun way.

Let's build your special event together!

Upcoming and Current Wine Tasting Events

Wine Tasting & Pottery Experience

Painting Pots, Knaresborough, North Yorks

A little me-time... you paint, we pour!

We've been keen to partner with ceramicist Laura Dudley for some time!

Her studio in a wonderfully wonky building in the heart of Knaresborough is overflowing with joyous creativity.

A busy mum of two at the heart of the community, Laura suggested an evening to give grown-ups some 'me time' just before the summer holidays begin.

So we're giving each guest a choice of wine goblet to paint under Laura's expert guidance, which will be kept and kiln-fired for you.

As you pore over your pots, we'll be pouring five sustainable Sardinian wines and inspiring you with tales from the vineyards of a magical island.

Come uncork the muse with us!

Save the date: 6.30pm for 7pm start, Friday July 10, Painting Pots, Knaresborough, North Yorkshire.

SIP AND CONNECT WITH... SCULPTURE

The Sculpture Gallery, Leeds

Meet the Artists

Our first Wine Storytelling event at The Sculpture Gallery in Leeds' iconic Corn Exchange was a sell-out success and attracted rave reviews.

We're delighted to return during the Gallery's Summer Exhibition to celebrate an astonishing display of artistic talent in this beautiful space.

We'll be exploring Sardinia through five standout wines, paired with cheeses from Leeds cheesemonger extraordinaire Emmanuelle Metz.

Two of the Gallery's featured sculptors will share their journey with us during the evening, and there will be time to view the exhibition from 5.30-6pm with a glass of special bubbles!

There is very limited capacity at this unique venue, so don't delay securing your seat!

Save the date: Thursday July 16th, 5.30pm-9.00pm. Tickets from Eventbrite here

WINE STORYTELLING & CHEESE TASTING

York Gin Distillery Bar

DID YOU SAY CHEEEEEEESE?!

We're always on the look out for cool new venues to hold Wine Storytelling events... and this one is uber cool!

Tucked away off Skeldergate in the centre of York, you'd miss it if you didn't know it was there.... and that's part of the York Distillery Bar's charm! Cosy and full of character, it's the perfect venue for bonding over Sardinian wine and English cheese.

The Distillery's ethos chimes with us, too. It's powered by 100% green energy, is plastic-free, and its spirits are distilled from grain grown on Yorkshire farms. Like Terra Sarda Wines, it's certified by the Good Business Charter.

We're thrilled to have been invited to host a guest event here for one of the Bar's popular Thursday Wine Club nights.

We'll explore Sardinia through six glasses of rare, sustainable wines, accompanied by local cheeses and traditional Sardinian nibbles, introducing you to the winemakers and their philosophy along the way.

We'll tease you with a quiz (prizewinning, of course). And it's a dog-friendly venue, too, so if Rover doesn't fancy a night in, he's welcome to join us!

Save the date: Thursday July 23. Tickets available through York Gin here!

Wine Tastings

Metz Cheesemonger, Farsley, Leeds

A magical marriage of wine and cheese

Metz founder Emmanuelle is more than a cheesemonger - she's an artist in cheese.

Not only does she create the most stunning, award-winning platters and cheese towers, she'll often add her own unique twist of flavour, elevating an impressive cheese to the sublime.

The Metz counter is a storybook. From her native France to her adoptive county of Yorkshire, Emmanuelle will weave a tale around every truckle, log and wheel, capturing the spirit of its terroir.

Which is why we are so excited to be partnering with her on cheese and wine tastings in 2026.

Our Metz events will feature five generous glasses of Sardinian wines and a cheeseboard curated for the occasion.

If you and your party would like to start your evening with an aperitif, you are welcome to join us at 6.30 for a glass of sparkling white or rosé (additional £5/glass) before the tasting begins.

Save the date: 6.30pm for 7pm start, Friday July 24, Metz Cheesemonger, Farsley, Leeds.
To book tickets, go to Metz and select July 26, enter number of guests and click 'Confirm Ticket Details'
